Seriously Boone should be fired just for hitting him where he is in the lineup.

Hit him 9th where any production is house money or he can roll the lineup over with a walk. Not behind Stanton.

Yep. You will get the HR anywhere in the lineup. You can't waste his spot behind guys actually on base when he's not going to drive them in.

It's almost like trading/signing guys who strike out and bat .200 is a bad strategy?

But I was told as long as they hit a homerun every 4-5 games all is well

I'm checking in on the Talkin' Yank live stream (because I enjoy watching sad yankee fans) and they are talking about the Yankee's having a tell on Eovaldi. Said they were swinging so much at first pitch fastballs and laying off really good sliders. Said they figured out a tell on him the last time they faced him (confirmed by someone in the organization).

Stanton should have been on 2B. He stood there and admired his HR. Just like in the 1St.
