Yankees, Sox, Mariners, Blue Jay all battling for the AL WC.

Yanks & Sox with 91 wins, Jays & Mariners with 90. Lots of potential 3 and 4 way ties.

The Giants have a 1 game lead on the Dodgers. If they tie, they'll play 163 for the NLW. Loser to the WC.

Boston, NYY, Seattle and Toronto are all in play for the last 2 Wild Card spots. Boston and NYY control their own destiny, so Seattle and Toronto need one of them to lose to get in. Lots of potential for chaos.

Vlad Jr. needs a fantastic run and an extra game now. He's 187 /602 = .3106 right now after the K.

If he goes 5-5 from this point he's .3163. Going 6-6 makes him .3174. Yuli is .3176. So Vlad needs 7 hits, no outs. That's going to take 2 games and a lot of luck.

I watched the tail end of the game last night, and Dave Sims was awesome. He was into it. He was a fan broadcasting the game. I loved it. His color guy was meh though.


I live in Seattle and happened to be out walking when the Mariners scored in the 8th. You could literally hear cheers come from all the houses in the area. It was a cool moment. And the Dave Sims call was absolutely terrific

The Blue Jays are the team outside of the Rays that I wouldn't want to see in an ALCS. The White Sox are going to be a battle to get there but give me Sox, Yanks or M's
