The best help is to get everyone healthy. Full lineup = more runs. Full pitching staff = less innings on the bullpen. We always go through rough patches. Hopefully we'll be 100% come playoffs. Our organization has shown it's cautionary with injuries this time of year and gives players rest

No it really wasn't. Had several opportunities to end it since then. And with some of our best players up to bat, they've failed.

No, I agree. But even still, we gave up 3 freaking runs with 2 outs in the 9th with our best pitcher. He gets 2 easy outs and decides to dance around Machado with a 3-run lead and walks him.

It's not the offenses fault. They blew up Darvish today. I'm concerned we can't hold a 5 run lead in the 8th. I'm concerned we have to bridge starter to closer at this point. It's not even really a health issue, honestly. Baez is hurt, but the other guy that is hurt is Josh James, and he's just as reliable as the rest of the bunch. Blake Taylor has been out forever with an ankle sprain, and even if he gets back, he's just as guilty of walking guys as the rest of the pen.

The bullpen, this far into the season, is concerning. I've been an it's only May guy, but we cannot throw only Stanek and Pressly for every game.

We have to patch a bullpen together. You cannot give two games away to better teams than you.

If my math is correct, the Astros bullpen gave up 10 runs, 10 hits, seven earned runs and five walks in 6 2/3 innings tonight.

it was 100% the bullpen's fault that the game got to extra innings.

but in extras...it was the mediocre offense.

with the new rule, games can be won in extras strictly with offense
