This is awful
yep... if he's not going does that hit get through?Cromagnum said:
We have some of the worst hit placement at the worst times.
11 for his last 48 (.229, .593 OPS)...ironically that is still better than Straw.CFTXAG10 said:Farmer1906 said:
TEN WHOLE AT BATS?!
This was my beef with the comment. It's 10 at bats. But please let's throw Straw and McCormick in the lineup together. Sounds great.

My goodness, they simply didn't show up this weekend.

I thought Bielak or Emmanuel would get the 6th-8th. Just looked at game cast again and saw Raley still in?

Don't @ me with what our "real" problems are, because I know we have bigger ones than this, and as soon as I post this he will strike out the side, but...
We aren't going to get far as long as Raley is a guy that comes into tied (or close) ballgames.
Yeah it makes absolute sense in a vacuum where Raley is a legitimate major league LHP.Beat40 said:Harry Dunne said:

At least having Raley in to face 3 lefties out of 4 battes makes sense.

Read the thread = it's a blowout
Check the MLB app = Down 1-0
Fair enough and as long as we don't have Billy Wagner breathing down his neck I don't have a problem putting him into the right situations, but he's not a guy that is going to come into tied ballgames for a WS champ. If he's coming into that situation in the playoffs we have zero chance.Beat40 said:Harry Dunne said:Yeah it makes absolute sense in a vacuum where Raley is a legitimate major league LHP.Beat40 said:Harry Dunne said:

I think he's just up and down like our entire bullpen is.
Last 5 games he has a 1.69 ERA, a WHIP of 0.938, and SO/W or 4.50.
I'm not saying he's who I want in a close game late, but mid innings against a spot in the lineup where the majority are lefties I'm more ok with it.

Then maybe someone else should argue to the ump when Altuve gets a ball called 4" off the plate inside on him.Deluxe said:
