We keep winning and it'll all take care of itself. We are on track for 86 wins right now at our current .530 clip.

However going .600 the rest of the way is very much doable which would put us at 95 wins

Y'all remember when Fran was here and our offense would try to grind out 12-14 play drives, and then we'd kick a FG...then tech would throw deep and score a TD in 2 plays and we'd lose games like 21 to 13. The As are tech. Their pitching keeps the game close so that 1 big play wins it. That's the best analogy I can make.

Also, aren't they still digging out of the run differential hole we put them in after the 1st series?

Now, I agree that over the course of the season they are going to lose some of those games.

the Astros are 13-7 vs. the AL West.

the A's are 2-5 vs. the AL West and feasting outside the division, but eventually they will play the required 76 division games

sidenote...Rendon went on the IL again. Won't see him at MMP next week. He's only played in 15 games so far this year

Here are the legitimate choices for potential HR leaders this year. As of right now Yordan, Bregman, Correa, Yuli and Tucker are all on pace for 20 HRs. Brantley is at 15 and Altuve at 10.

I think Bregman and Yordan will start separating themselves from the pack.

Ump did his best to help Toronto out last night. I don't recall seeing calls favoring 1 side by over a full run on these before.

As far as homeruns, I'm thinking Yordan and Bregman both hit 30. Correa and Yuli around 25. Altuve around 18-22

it is a little strange...the Astros are 10th in the AL in home runs, but 4th in slugging %.

This is something... they spend the entire time insinuating there is a whistling system to tell the batter if the catcher is set up inside or outside then at the end of the segment state that this isn't cheating, its baseball. The delivery seemed off to me.

Honestly, it surprises me that a catcher at the big league level would be so blatant about it. When I was in high school, we had verbal cues while watching from the batter's box. "Be quick" for inside, "Stay back" for outside. If we had that in high school, I can't imagine it doesn't happen at every single level, and you'd think someone who went through all those levels would have learned not to set up too quickly by now.
