Agreed. I feel like Dusty is probably done, but maybe I'm wrong.mazag08 said:Ag12thman said:

Great post. Agree 100%Marvin said:
I'm sometimes a prisoner of the moment, even at 55… I think, I lose count. I rant and I say fan(atic) things from time to time, but the Houston Astros are my team. I watched Terry Puhl, Art Howe, Cheo and Csar Cedeno as a kid.
But I'll tell you what. Mrs. Marvin and I will be at West Palm in a couple of months. We'll enjoy the sun and cheer on our boys and look forward to another run. And we'll be at MMP and support the team. She will cheer incessantly and I'll curse under my breath, but we'll be there.
And I'll be here. Hopefully I'll be here talking about another playoff run, but damn sure I'll be here if the Lord hasn't called my name.
World Series runs don't grow on trees. Let's stop cursing for a minute, starting with me, and be thankful for November Baseball… even if as a bridesmaid.

I swear I've seen this posted before.

And this is a Braves team who is missing two aces (Soroka and Morton) along with one of the probably top 5 players in the NL (Acuna) and a big bat in Ozuna

Look at that no-heart Bregman.
Lol, I understand and I'm with ya. But I stand by what I've heard and what my eyes see.
Brantley, Tucker, Altuve, Bergman, Yuli and Alvarez have never been loud vocal clubhouse guys. These are all quiet guys. Notice a trend whth the ups and downs in overall team performance this year? Who has been pissed off about their contract all year after the offer from the Astros prior to the season?
You're saying Correa is so important to this team that he dictates the ups and downs of the entire team? Is this the point?
If so, you're making the point to pay him so he can keep the team up until he retire.la.
Did you see in any of my posts where it says not to resign him? Or did you see the importance in regards to the character and heart of the the vocal clubhouse leader?
Everyone on this thread understands heart and character are important.
It's just wild you're pinning the entire teams performance in WS on Correa.
Again, as Farmer asked, who are the vocal leaders on the Braves who have character and heart that are pushing their team? You aren't answered this.
I don't know the vocal leaders of the Braves. But what have your eyes told you this series who looked the most motivated from top to bottom, Astros or Braves?
You can say using your eyes is objective all you want. It's not. Is subjective when it comes to judging things like emotion and motivation.
Without being in the players heads and locker room, all you're doing is reading a situation with your own bias tilting your judgement one way or another.
Unless you have first hand knowledge, you're just making stuff up.

Why do you keep feeding it?
Because he's hungry, hence his popcorn.
Regardless of what you believe. There is always one or two guys in a clubhouse or locker room that drive the pulse of a team.

Has to be such a conflicting moment for Stubbs. You get put in to play in the World Series!! Down 8, 3 outs from elimination..

I’ll say this. It sucks to lose like this but the #Astros window isn’t closing. Pitching is young. Tucker and Yordan are 24 years old. Still have Bregman and Altuve. System is a lot deeper in prospects than people think. Couple top prospects close to being ready too.
