If you're wanting a single wait. But keep an eye out on the market. As it gets closer, people may start to split their tickets in more ways than they previously would, sell 3 of 4, etc. Obviously you won't want to wait this long if you're flying down, but I bought this single for $160 for fridays game about 20 minutes after the game started. Kicker was we bought the wife a single in the 400's and the two people next to me never showed up so we both sat here the whole game.

Edit: obviously we got really lucky, I wouldn't say that's the norm. This ticket was cheaper than SRO. But you can see total tickets on stubhub. If there are a lot, a few thousand, prices will continue to drop. If there aren't, they'll hold steady or even rise.

Maybe plan on coming Wednesday and watching the market to see what it does Tuesday?

Yep. National media mindset is that any sports championship without a LA, NY, Boston, SF, Philly, Chicago team isn't a 'real' one. I expect plenty of nonsense reporting still about sign stealing, but we'll see plenty of crap about how so many great players aren't in the WS.

I'm not so sure

Travis Tritt, All Star game fiasco, unapologetic tomahawk chop, John Rocker, a more deplorables fanbase

there's a lot of baggage on their side of the ledger

Houston has Dusty and Yordan which are ready to go story lines. it doesn't offset the cheating scandal but it's tough to resist the easy content.

I anticipate a lot of throat clearing and no clear favorable delineation. a lot of rooting for meteors from the righteous.

Manfred is trapped which is wonderful.

The big question will be if the Braves will be able to handle all of the cheating accusations.

I'm assuming they cheated since they beat the mighty $300M Dodgers. There is no way a guy like Rosario could have that many hits without some type of help.

I will never forget the sound of that ball hitting the pole. I was sitting by the bullpen. The silence afterwards was so still and eerie. I think everyone there knew that was the end of that game.
