Looks like Odorizzi upset after not making the 26 man roster

Although he has had success against the White Sox, I am a little surprised we went with Javier over Odorizzi. I feel Odorizzi is maybe a bit more stable in a pen role early on while Javier takes too long to get composed

Non story. Drama Chandler gonna drama. Of course he's disappointed to get left off the playoff roster. He should have pitched better if he didn't want to be left off.

Eh I think he pitched better than Maton and would've been good for a couple innings.

Odorizzi's ERA has been getting better.

I do scratch my head why he was left off but Maton and Javier are on the roster.

While I hope for success for both Maton/Javier during this series, if any of them blow up completely it will come as no surprise.

As much as we hate the moves Dusty made in the regular season, I think he's been very solid in the playoffs this year and last in terms of lineups and bullpen moves. I do question his use of Maton, but it obviously worked out in our favor.

Maybe he just likes to experiment more during the regular season with a decent lead and doesn't care about going for total wins?

So far.

Dusty's bad decisions of using guys like Pressley and graveman extensively (even in games where it's not necessary) may not show up until later in the playoffs if we continue to advance. They will be tired when it counts. That's what happened with the dodgers in 2017. So far he's used both in games with a lead of 5 or more.

That could be a potential issue. After pitching both recently, is 1 day of rest enough to use them in Game 3 or are they unavailable? Based on pitchcount, I think Graveman is out.

Let's just hope our offense goes Super-Saiyan so it's not an issue

They had a 21pt first quarter lead. Oilers had a 32pt lead in the 3rd quarter.

Only team with a choke job near the Oilers was the Aggies vs UCLA
