I don't know if any of y'all are watching this but Larusso just looks old and tired and, frankly, a little disoriented in his post game presser.

I was just thinking that. Definitely lost his edge

I am going to say it. And I mean it. Dusty has done a good job thru 2 games.

My only real issue is burning your closers with large leads. I would have liked to maybe let Javier get a multi-inning closeout, but we don't have a ton of great options. Especially when Framber is done so early.
Yeah I'm not a Dusty fan at all, but have had no problems with his moves. I haven't minded using the closer with the spacing of the games. We have to get the W's and I would rather not wait to bring them in when the bases are juiced or something.

I didn't mind using Pressly in the 8th either b/c of the part of the lineup coming up vs what was due up in the 9th either.

If it was a 5-4 game with Pressly coming in everybody would've like it (or I would've) and that's what he was warming for

Exactly. I want Pressly facing 5-6-7 in the 8th. Let Graveman take 8-9-1. Assuming it's close.

Such a bad look he may end up in the White House

Not sure what this was about
it's dusty v larussa. Making it about themselves

MLB tv talking about it. Anderson chirping after stanek Kd him without throwing heat. That started it
I'm sorry, but that is loser attitude from Anderson. Pitcher's job is to get your ass out. If he does it bc you can't hit breaking pitches, that's your problem.

I agree, but let's not forget the time Correa said that Joe Kelly was scared to throw him fastballs.

But that was him chirping back because after Carlos struck out, Kelly said "Nice swing, *****"

Unless Stanek said something, this Was different for sure.

Does Castro start for Garcia? I don't remember how many times, if any, he caught him.

I like Castro, but he's got a noodle arm. I see him more as a pinch hitter for Maldy if the situation comes up. So Dusty probably starts him Sunday.

Came in after mowing the yard to see the Rays have already knocked Sale out after 1 IP. Boston is in trouble. You hate to see it.

Nah let Maldy start. If any of our other catchers are behind the plate, it's gonna be steal city for the sox base runners.

I don't disagree at all with your assessment just know that Dusty has to change things up, just cause… if they're starting a left on Sunday - it will be Castro

Part of the lineup of death is a lack of a free spot. Tucker in the 7 hole gives you both power and speed that no one else has there. I would decide Chas or Jake on pitching matchups but otherwise I agree. Don't mess with the lineup. We are rolling and I don't want to screw that up.

That was the first I've seen of Sale since maybe 2018. Did they accidentally give him chemotherapy instead of Tommy John? I don't remember him being that skinny, was he?

Would love to have home-field advantage while facing the Sock's crappy pitching

Cash just pulled his starter in 3rd up 5-3. Nuts.

Snapdragon 2 comes in and promptly gives up a bomb. 5-4.

Early on the Rays look to be the team the of destiny this year. I'm praying Boston finds some way to win this series.

He prorates to 57 at 300 PAs, 76 at 400 PAs and 95 at 500 PAs. That's not shabby.

I really want this group of players to overtake these Yankees. Springer will probably get back to the postseason, but it's not guaranteed. Tuve & Bregman will be back. TED & Yordan are really just getting started. Yuli's time is running out. Carlos is the wild card though. If he resigns then he's the guy most likely to own all the records.

I wouldn't sleep on Chicken & Push Ups making some noise too. He's so damn young and been so damn good in the playoffs. Plus the Rays look to be regulars in October too.

He already set the single-postseason record for HR last year with 10.
