Assuming his rehab has gone well, those numbers won't be anywhere near what he can get on the open market. If he comes back and pitches well (even once or twice) at the end of this season, forget about it.
I'm not sure what you're basing your opinion of 19/yr being high on. Bauer just got 3/102. Do you think he's going to be that far behind Bauer? JV has had ELEVEN seasons better (by WAR) than Bauer's 2nd best year, including 4 out of his last 5 before the injury.
