Something I've always wondered and never known the answer to:
When a minor leaguer gets called up for a short stretch (due to an injury etc), do they make the prorated per game amount of the MLB league minimum for that time?
Just had me thinking about how meaningful those little 10 day IL stints could be for some of those guys even if they don't shine or really even get in the games. At ~$3,478 a game a week in the bigs is more than a full season salary for most of those guys.
