We are going to need the home version of LMJ tonight.

It's joking because 1. Jordan's came back negative and yet he needed surgery & 2. Because negative is usually a bad thing except in the medical field.

The splits are ridiculous. Sub 2 at home.

Which makes me wonder why we didn't throw Lance yesterday.
We could've thrown him or Greinke yesterday since they both pitched during the DHer last week.
Seems logical if given the option you'd throw Lance at home and let ZG start on the road.
I'd be much more interested to read a book written by Luhnow or Taubman. However much money they were given to keep quiet, I wish we could raise it and let them spill everything they know.redline248 said:
I should write a book on my experiences being a fan of the Astros. Good time to capitalize on the cheating, I guess.
Honestly I wish Dusty would have started LMJ yesterday instead of ZG. I understand why he went with ZG, but the home version of LMJ is just so much better than the road. I'd rather limit his road starts.Beat40 said:

I was thinking more along the lines that Dusty thought winning the series was more important. Maybe has more trust in ZG going out there and having a higher chance of winning vs LMJ (even though we all know home LMJ is just as good or at least comparable to ZG)Ag_07 said:
Why did he go with ZG?
Guessing it's to keep him on regular rest but that doesn't make sense either.
Zach is a vet and he can handle an extra day in his schedule and Lance seems like he needs regularity more than ZG does.
The benefit of home Lance outweighs all that.

This is real, or is my sarcasm meter off this morning?

I have no data to back this up, but rest rarely seems to fix what a pitcher has broken. Usually it just delays the inevitable until it impacts the next year. It's what has me worried about Verlander.
