Well this made me feel a little better. Yankees were up 4-0 then let the Mets come back and tie it up. Then they were up 7-4 after the 7th inning and again let the Mets come back to tie it up...

Then I watched this and smiled again...



Yankees fans are so sad right now and I'm here for it.

Yeah after a super long layoff too. Last day they played was Saturday so 6 days between games. We were pretty rusty after just 2 days off so I wonder how rusty they will be.

whoa, just checked the stats...

didn't realize Altuve has just a .606 OPS in 143 at-bats / 155 plate appearances.

Diaz has a chance to be an upgrade.

(and there's no way a .600 OPS-guy can hit in the top half of the batting order come playoff time)
