Arguably the worst pen in baseball at the moment. I'd like to say that it's a long season and we'll see it come around... but who knows.

I still think we win the division. Or at least be comfortably in 2nd and the playoffs. But we can still be critical of things. Dusty Baker is not my favorite at the moment

Get Pressley, urquidy, peacock and Alvarez healthy and this season will turn around in a hurry.

I'm glad to see Pressly available ... but bottom of the 9th in a 1 run game isn't where I'd like to see him in his first game back in a week. I would have preferred Scrubb or Peredes in that spot

If we get good news on JV soon and find out he will be back for the playoffs, then get Urquidy, Peacock and Yordan back ready to contribute, it will be a major boost to this team's sense of urgency. I bet we see a complete 180 for the positive.

I said the same thing to Mrs. Marvin, but would it have mattered? Who knows. At least we know Pressly is mentally strong and can handle the pressure and scrutiny. I won't question Dusty on that call.

My only complaint with Dusty's moves tonight was Sneed. That guy has given up the lead in every game he's pitched, this year.

They can be pitching beyond themselves and still be bad. It's not their fault for sure, and I would MUCH rather see them learn on the fly than roll out the AAAA retreads like Deetz, Armenteros and whoever. Let the kids play and get better.
But, it's also ok to say they allow way too many base runners and are not throwing strikes consistently. It doesn't have to be a binary argument.
And again, I love watching these kids. They are they next Astros stars.

What is the deepest a starter has gone this year for the astros? I can't remember one past the 6th inning unless JV did opening night
