That's a good point but I still think you'd use every other guy you've got, no matter how tired they'd be, in a 14th. 15th. 16th inning over a dude who hasn't thrown a competitive pitch in weeks. His nuts would be in his throat.

If James is injured we definitely don't need him being dead weight. We could use some inning eaters in games that are not close.

But this is game 7 and you've got 2 days off before the World Series starts...if you've got a big lead, you can afford to stick with more proven guys a little longer or go to different proven guys if the game tightens. No such thing as an inning eater in a game 7. This isn't a Tuesday night in Seattle.
