This Yankees/Indians game. Britton walks two straight batters after getting to outs and can't find the zone. The non-Tito Indians manager pull their hottest hitter out of the line-up in favor of the left-right match up. Of course, Britton, who has been struggling gets pulled.

So, Cleveland basically just took a struggling pitcher out of the game.

Buehler with stuff on his hand - I get why and I don't care, but I do wonder how the Dodger team feels morally about the possibility of Buehler breaking the rules.

I've said it before. Players cheat. They all cheat. There isn't a single pitcher who doesn't have some form of stickum or tar somewhere. Some hide it and some are blatantly obvious about it. The players don't care and because they don't, MLB doesn't. Players can cheat all they want, and for some reason teams can't. It's stupidly hypocritical.

Agreed. I just like to point out their hypocrisy.

They don't care if their teammates break the rules. They only care when the competition is doing it against them.

When it comes to pine tar or whatever, I thought many batters don't mind because it can give pitcher's better grip and therefore lessen the chances they'd be HBP.

Chapman still giving up big hits on the slider.

edit...apparently it was only a 95 mph fastball

Chapman comes in an promptly gives up a run on the first pitch. I love it. Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

This has been a really fun baseball day. I gotta say, baseball from 11am until midnight is not a bad day at all. Especially when you an watch it all knowing your team has advanced.

It's like A&M winning the early game on Thursday in March madness, the entire rest of the day and Friday is just smooooth sailing watching game after game with no pressure

Indians keep trying to stay offspeed, which is the right thing to do, but can't be competitive enough in the zone.

Urshela's was just bad luck for Hand.

Hand needs to come after the hitters and quit falling behind in the count

Looked like he was trying to sneak where that lead runner was instead of getting the closer to sure out at 1st.

I'm going to give the Yankee hitters some credit here. They are laying off some really tough pitches.
