Should be about 8-5 right now based on Lance on the road versus Marco Gonzalez against a team hitting like .700 against him.

Astros are 19th in HR, 17th in slugging, 20th in OPS. That's a stunning drop from what was expected, even with the starters missing time. Bottom line, this offense is weak.

Some of it is Bregman and Springer being out. Some of it is Altuve not hitting for any power this year. Some of it is Yuli dropping off. Add it all up and it's not pretty.

It's why we need Springer out there for these games. Especially when one swing could equal 1 run agains a tough pitcher. It would have made more sense to sit him against one of the guys the Ms have going tomorrow or Wednesday.
