franchise players don't average 98 games played a year; that's what Correa has done the last 3 seasons.

Carlos is going to want a 10-yr type deal, IMO. Not my money, I would want to lock him up.

I've always taken the opposite position on injuries, especially position players. Most of the time they are flukes, like Bagwell getting hit and breaking his hand. You just can't base decisions on "he'll probably get hurt." It's rare that an injury sidelines a guy for a full season like Tommy John. You can also take measures to protect a guy...letting him DH every week, days off, etc.

Springer's playstyle is more violent than Carlos's, and I would also try to keep him.

Straw with a .231 OPS now. They just can't keep putting him out there. I don't care how fast you are if you can't get on base you can't run.

I didn't realize LMJ has a no-no through 6.

4 qualified players have OPS under .400. One under .300 at .273. Straw would be dead ass last in the majors if he qualified.

Tough play even if he fields it.

I'm not going to complain about that hit. He's at 84 pitches and he doesn't need to be going any farther and risk an injury. Dusty doesn't need that pressure right now. And Lance doesn't need that on his psyche if he gets pulled.
