I haven't seen anything that says payments to major league players were impacted by the May 31st deadline.

minor league players and front office people were subject to the deadline

The March agreement was they players would get $170mm advance on salaries paid in April & May. Where are you seeing they get paid in June?

My point was just that that amount (whatever it is) should be taken into account when referring to what the players pay for 2020 is gonna be.

Owners are fronting that money with no income whatsoever coming in from the clubs.

Networks don't wann move games because they don't wanna compete with football.

All these sports getting pushed to the fall (PGA majors, NBA tourney, baseball) mixed with CFB and NFL is gonna be a mess for networks.

the MVP race would be crazy for a 50-game season. Tons of players could put up gaudy numbers in 1/3 of season

Just blow the whole thing up and just do this season like a World Cup. Pods of teams play a round robin, to 2 in each pod move onto a best of 3 elimination round, then best of 5 then best of 7 and crown "Champion" and move onto 2021
