I mean...I hope so and it's early in the season but a 20% swinging strike rate has me a little worried about his mindset holding up.

It's been like that all night. He's widened and shortened on different occasions. We've been on the better end of it so far so I'm not complaining.

I told you guys how Minor was going to be great this year.

Just a solid pitcher, with great stuff... great command. Another example of JD finding great players.

It's really amazing. Watching Cole pace and rant in the dugout is hysterical. Culpa has been far from great but it's gone both ways yet only one team is acting like they've been robbed of a game.

2nd year after TJ, right? I don't know if he's an ace on a contender, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him as a solid #2. He and Leclerc are the 2 guys I thought could be longer term pieces. Houston signed Scott Feldman for 12 million when they were rebuilding. Minor could be a bargain.

I was trying to be a bit funny. IIRC, he had labrum surgery, not TJ.

I think he is the only starter who didn't have TJ.

Pence may be the most awkward big leaguer to ever wear a ranger uniform. Everything from his style, approach at the plate, throwing angle etc.

I'd still sit LeClerc, let Kelly pitch to one more batter if need be then make the change. But now that Gallo walked should be a mute point I'd think.

The problem is, you've gotten him warmed up, so he sits tomrrow regardless. Might as well pitch him, unless you are concerned about injury.

While successful TJ recovery has become a common thing, shoulder surgeries are beasts that end careers. His resurgence really is something. Hope it continues.
