Not to take anything away from this guy. But an almost Aggie is getting his first start in MLB Sunday. Chris Paddack from Cedar Park had been a TAMU commit before being drafted by the Padres. He's had some tough luck with TJ really early in his career, but seems to have bounced back.
I'm really good friends with his uncle, otherwise I wouldn't know who the heck he was.
Not bad for 23 years old.

Win total guesses? I'm thinking 96. I can't ignore losing Keuchel, Morton and LMJ for the year.

If Luhnow pulls the trade deadline trigger for another Morton or Cole, I think the Astros win it all again, because the postseason doesn't need a 5th starter.

We shouldn't win 100 because teams just don't do that 3 years in a row, but our division is easier, our offense is more stacked, and while out pitching has changed i don't think it's a weakness.

Is Oakland going to continue to be good this year? They were definitely a surprise last year but I didn't follow their off-season.

Seattle got worse. Texas is in complete rebuild mode now. The Angels appear to be the same mediocre they've been.

Its easy to say Oakland will have a drop off because they pretty greatly overachieved last year. But I think its significant. Putting Oakland around 85 wins and the Angels to finish in second for the West

They way overachieved last year and got worse this offseason. They're only projected around 79 wins. They'll probably top that, but I'm think 82. Not worried about them at all.

That's an astute question.

In 2018, it was started at 10:46am on opening day. So that time is no good.

In 2017, it was started at 3:33pm the day before opening day. Someone needs to tell Mazag08 that it starts this afternoon.
