Little known fact: Giles is a closet nerd and loves to program in UNIX/Ubuntu. He has "RM" stenciled on his glove (UNIX command to delete a file) to remind himself to "delete" the previous outing from his memory.

Well sure, of course it is but it doesn't mean it's always the right play.

think it's a reflection on his mental state that he could have fairly routinely gotten the lead runner but he went ultra conservative just to get something.
