I'm not gonna check the schedule and work it out to the 14th, but I'm almost positive that I saw the new order being Cole, JV, Lance, Morton, Dallas. They specifically mentioned Cole and JV going on their normal days rest and Lance/Morton each getting an extra day.

This game is the epitome of how this season has gone... bats come to life... Keuchel finally pitches a great game... bullpen blows it up...

can never get all 3 phases going at the same time...

Just checked the schedule. Looks like Cole would start on the 14th. That makes sense, because they said the new rotation would put JV on the mound the Sunday before the all star game. Cole would start the day before that, which is the 14th.

This is at least the second change. Maybe the third. They skipped Dallas one time to keep JV on his normal schedule, which is apparently very important to him.

It's hard to believe that a guy like Federowicz can find his way to the majors in an organization that values pitch framing as much as the Astros do.

I can't believe how bad he is at receiving the ball. He's making pitches right down the pipe look like balls that miss off the corner.
