I know it's super short notice, but I have a couple extra tickets for today's game. Shoot me a message with your number/email and I will send them to whoever messages first!

Well boys....I think we found a damn good closer. LeClerc has been dominant since taking the role.
Please no more "let's make this guy a starter!" projects. If the guy is a good closer/relief arm, LEAVE HIM THERE.94chem said:gigem1223 said:

Almost wasting his arm as a closer. That splitter is phenomenal, like Bryan Harvey or Trevor Hoffman.

Rangers beat
The Rangers remain uncertain as to when right-hander Bartolo Colon will make his next start. Colon was scratched from Sunday's start against the Angels with back stiffness.
Banister said left-hander Mike Minor is progressing, but the Rangers are still uncertain when he will make his next start. Minor was scratched from Friday's start against the Angels with back stiffness, but the Rangers are hoping he'll pitch in the three-game series against the Athletics that starts Monday in Oakland.
Adrian Beltre was not in the lineup for Sunday's series finale against the Angels. Beltre, who is dealing with a strained left hamstring, was back in the lineup Saturday as a designated hitter, his first game action since Monday.
I meant more of an Andrew Miller role.jtstanley4621 said:Please no more "let's make this guy a starter!" projects. If the guy is a good closer/relief arm, LEAVE HIM THERE.94chem said:gigem1223 said:

That would be against the rules. But nothing illegal about pitching Tocci tonightDallasAg 94 said:
Too soon for Sept Call-ups?!
As long as Khris Davis is in the lineup.KT 90 said:That would be against the rules. But nothing illegal about pitching Tocci tonightDallasAg 94 said:

O/U on Davis HR's in a 3 game series against Texas is 1.5 (25 HR in 49 career games). I'll take the under (might as well be optimistic, right?).DallasAg 94 said:As long as Khris Davis is in the lineup.KT 90 said:That would be against the rules. Cano just juiced a 3-R HR.
7-4 Seattle with 1-Out in B8.
It's coming. He already has his HOF numbers, the injuries are happening more frequently. I think he is done after this season.Quote:
Beltre on his future: "If I feel like I can't hit anymore which sometimes this year I've felt that I can't hit anymore, if I can't compete with the young guys, yes, I'll pack up my bags and go home. Right now, I'm not at that stage yet. I might be there at the end of the year."
Agreed. His K numbers are way up. Last season, in 94 games, he struck out 52 times. This year, in 87 games, he's already up to 77. He's not drawing as many walks as he used to. His power is down. I think it's time. I was really hoping he'd make a run at 500 HR, but his injuries last year and this year have made that almost impossible.KT 90 said:It's coming. With Beltre and Dirk on the cusp of retirement, Aggie Football has a giant void to fill in the next few years...
