I was on a very long flight, with limited movie options. Ended up watching "I, Tonya." Domestic violence is no joke and something to take seriously!

It is one of the reasons I don't put such a great emphasis on winning. I'd rather lose 162 games without a wife-beater, than to give approval for domestic violence for the sack of a W.

I grew up watching the Dodgers in the '70s (elementary school years), with spectacular SPs and a great IF. I have appreciation for the strategy that goes with no-DH. If you have great SP, the games are much quicker because you don't have to do all of the RP.

I think if you did away with the DH, you'd see less PEDs in MLB.

Having said that... I'm good either way. Having also watched the Rangers the majority of my life, I've grown to appreciate the DH.

As much as this helps us, I wouldn't mind if he came back in some capacity once his playing days are over. My understanding is he is the ultimate team player and relentlessly helps young players.

Choo reminds me a lot of Paul O'Neil. Does everything well, can wreck you if he's hot. 3 years ago he probably deserved some MVP votes, but he was so bad the first 2 months that his overall stats didn't show what a great season he had.

Agreed. Great defensive catcher and good in big situations at the plate. Really think any of the vets (Beltre, Choo, Chirinos) on this team can help contenders for a relatively cheap price.
