If Profar hadn't been injured he would have been given a lot of benefit of the doubt to hold onto the position as a former #1 overall prospect.

Odor had a come up early because we traded Kinsler and Profar got hurt (and IIRC there was a journeyman we also had get hurt).

The thing is that it's not an indictment of the guy to have to give him the hook. He's a bullpen guy. Even the best just don't have their stuff some nights. To let him twist in the wind until the game is blown is nuts. It's one thing when a couple of flukes get on and one swing shifts it. But that was a slow, predictable bleed.

Banny is so afraid of damaging a guy's confidence that he'll let him drive a fiery car into a bridge embankment before he says boo.

I could understand if a few guys K rates were up, but every single one? Most by at least 25%? That's fishy.
