He's got some nagging injuries. I'd like to see them send him to the 15 day DL for a recharge. Or at least build some days off before the ASB so he gets a good stretch off. Would be good to see what a week to 10 days off would do.

So I had this game to tag as part of my side gig, and he had really good stuff against Nashville, unfortunately it was FB and SL only. He tried mixing in a few CH, but he definitely made the majority of his outs with his FB (location). He gave up 1 run on a handful of hits through 6 innings with a half dozen or so SO.

On a different note, Calhoun went 0-5 for this game, but you wouldn't have thought that by watching. I think he had 3, maybe 4 hard hit balls right at guys, all lined drives with a couple of shots that made it to the warning track. But I was most impressed with his approach at the plate. He probably averaged 5 or 6 pitches each AB, and was very patient, didn't swing at junk, etc. He reminded me of Choo, but definitely looks to drive the ball more. I wasn't too high on him to start the year, especially with his approach to being in the minors, but at the plate, he looks to be legitimate.

Might want to check the scouting report on RF before you greenlight your slow-ass C, coach

While I'm not in the camp to trade him, he'd definitely bring the most high-end prospects of anyone we can offer. May have something to do with whatever locker room issues he's had in the past as well.

Yeah... but he has several negatives.

First, he has 3.34 ERA. Event at 19-for-19... that's pretty lofty. I know he is only 25, but still concerning.

Second... he has had a few clubhouse issues. His name has been tossed out frequently when it comes to trading, which gives me an indication things might go south quickly with him.

Yeah, something has to be off with the dude.
