The largest division lead at the AS break was the 01 Mariners @ 19 games. If Daddy can hold serve at 16, we'd be #2 all time. Actually, we can drop 1 game on our lead and still be second all time.

How does it make you feel, Arlingtonians? Are you comforted that Oakland, LAA, & Seattle are in the same boat as you?

I don't think anyone will deny Houston has a damn good team. But remind me, how did the 01 Mariners finish the season? And how many times have they made the playoffs since? But good thing they won the half-way through the season award, such a cool banner to fly at their park

Just a reminder on how dark the future is for the Rangers and the rest of the AL West.

11) Houston Astros: Broad array of talent with outstanding depth. The Astros have a case as high as sixth. Overview. 2015 Rank: 10th; 2016 Rank 3rd.

16) Oakland Athletics: On the upswing over last two years although not as much as some clubs; much depends on how fatigued you are with Renato Nunez and Matt Olson; don't underestimate the pitching. Overview. 2015 Rank: 27th; 2016 Rank 18th

21) Texas Rangers: Good mix of C+ types but not as much impact/upside as typical for the Rangers; I imagine this is cyclical and will improve quickly. Overview. 2015 Rank: 5th; 2016 Rank 7th

23) Seattle Mariners: Good news is improvement from some hitting prospects after disastrous 2015. Max Povse and Robert Whalen over from Braves should make quick impact on mound. Overview. 2015 Rank: 17th; 2016 Rank 26th

28) Los Angeles Angels: This system needed a complete rebuild after years of neglect. There are signs of life, enough to move them out of the basement, Overview. 2015 Rank 28th; 2016 Rank 30th

They went down in the history books as the team with the most regular season wins in all of baseball history. Even though they fell short of winning it all, I would say that qualifies as a good season. You just need to make the playoffs to have a shot at winning it all. Just ask the '06 Cards. Last I checked having a 16 game lead gives you a good shot at that.

I am not sure how relevant their next few years is to how Daddy's will be. This team will be together for at a minimum 3 years.

Don't you worry, we will add the half way award to the April, May, and June titles we already won this year.

So not only are we hands down the best team in the division that is lead by a very young and talented core, but we also have the best farm system so this dominance should continue for a very long time.

It's good to be king.

So it is likely he will be gone and replaced by a better hitter next year.

Is Correa supposed to punch him now and are we all supposed to furiously change our facebook profile pics to the punch in a masturbatory frenzy?

Is that how this is supposed to play out?

Well since you like it so much...

If Jose Altuve had a brother named Jose Altuve who'd jacked off another dude in the locker room, yal wouldn't even talk about anything else.

Also, if Jose Altuve's brother, Jose Altuve, did that. He'd be way better at it then Rougned's brother, Rougned.
