Careful, Houston fans will quickly be along to point out that they would not flaunt all-time record in our face if roles were reversed.free_mhayden said:

Keep hanging onto that. Hang on tight, madam. That gap will do nothing but close over the next 4-5 years... Make it 10 if your GM has "too much integrity" to burn it down and start over.free_mhayden said:

Word of advice: You posting that shows that it gets under your skin and that you care, further incentivizing the Rangers fans who like to bring up overall record to do just that.
Just a humble Rangers fan's opinion.

I know another fan base that always brings up all time record. Very similar fan bases.
The head-to-head record is brought up in every conversation by fans and media about every rivalry in the history of sportsaggie1906 said:
I still find is very odd that some insecure fan base points to a head to head record in pro sports. I've never once seen a fan do that until this thread. It's just weird.
Well your little buddy referenced pro sports, not just MLBtitanmaster_race said:
I've watched MLB for a long time. No one outside of the rangers and NYC/Boston talk about head to head records.

Both fan bases acting like they would NEVER act like the other, when in reality, quite the opposite is true.
Yet you keep bringing up that very subject. Are you sure?Ag_07 said:AllThings12thMan said:

It's safe to say I will NEVER forcibly whack-off another man.
Apparently, the Rockets, Astros, and Texans are just too good for rivals because outside of the Texans record at Indy, I cannot think of one time its ever been brought up.AccidentProne said:The head-to-head record is brought up in every conversation by fans and media about every rivalry in the history of sportsaggie1906 said:

If the roles were reversed I would be scared ****less of my teams future. As an Astro fan, I have seen what the duct tape stay afloat rebuild looks like. It doesn't work. Arlington is in for a long hiatus from the postseason if they keep overpaying for **** talent and selling the farm to try and stay not bad. If you start not signing all your draft picks then you may as well abandon ship.AllThings12thMan said:
If roles were reversed, Astro fans and Aggies would never stop talking about head to head. It's just the nature of sports fandom.
Do you really, in your heart of hearts, believe that if the Aggies were 76-37-5 (or whatever it is) against the Horns, the mindset would be "we're not gonna talk about that because it's the past"? Heck no, we would flaunt that till the day we died.
That's why this whole thing is silly. Both fan bases acting like they would NEVER act like the other, when in reality, quite the opposite is true.

Wait wait wait wait... y'all have been making nonstop jokes about some kid being sexually assaulted at a Dominican training camp and THAT joke offends you??irish pete ag06 said:
CJ Nitkowski is a bigger chode than your manager. Read the comments above for a little more context behind this harmless remark.
