The Twins maybe. I think that's being a little generous with your affect on the Rangers. We were under 500 already while the Twins were atop their division when you put 40 on them.

My point is the Astros didn't single handedly change this situation for the Rangers. Make it worse? Sure. Could they continue to do so? Absolutely, but the likelihood of any real run barring a complete 180 was already pretty bleak before these games.

Duh....No argument here.

Just last week we had to flag a post referencing a WS so staff would delete it.

I wouldn't say garbage the whole time and I still don't they are, but the reality is that everybody started so awful and some are continuing that trend that it almost doesn't matter if they start performing up to par. The hole has been dug and, unless the Astros see the kinds of injuries the Rangers saw in 2014, there's no chance at the division now and it's just about toast for the WC barring a major turnaround in short order.

Someone who grew up a fan of both teams. Much bigger Rangers fan. Saw about 60 Astros games while going to A&M back in 2000. I find much of this thread hilariously dumb.

Former full season ticket holder for the Rangers but too expensive for everything else (like A&M games, traveling, etc) so I go when I can. Had fun chatting up a few Astros fans last Saturday.

The Astros are on a historic pace... fun to see for a team that decided to waste a few years rebuilding... worth the wait for many of you I'm sure.

This thread, like the Rangers season, is done.
