Yu Darvish is simultaneously one of the most exciting and frustrating pitchers to watch. He has the talent to be an ace, but struggles to get through 5 innings due to his always high pitch count.
I'm not sure if Darvish is a $25 mil a year guy or not. I just can't see him being that ace that can go win you two playoff games in a series. Someone will give him the money though.

There was a time where you could have claimed that Odor was going to be the better power hitter. That his power would offset Altuve's BA and OBP.
Now Altuve has added some power to his game and Odor is playing like absolute crap. So yeah, at this point there just is no comparison between the two.

I'm not writing him off over a third of a season but he needs to get to it at the plate. He's reaching Josh Hamilton in his last season with the Rangers in terms of predictability. He can't not swing with two strikes. Don't throw it to center field and he's swinging. The fact that Banny is loyal to the point of absurdity isn't helping either.
