Sad day for me and my fellow Astros fans. I turned off the Astros game when they were losing 8-2, so I only assume that they lost for sure. Then later on, I turn off the Rangers game when they were winning 4-1, so I know they won their game. I could go for some good news right about now...

The reason that moderation of that kind exists is because of Astros fans. In 2015 the Astros jumped to a big lead, so some of the Astros fans (mainly aggie1906) just had to come trash talk in the Rangers thread. Rangers fans largely ignored it, but some did go to the astros thread to return in kind.

Of course the Rangers came back to win the division and astros fans began to cry everytime they saw a Rangers post. Tired of the endless rain of tears coming from astros fans the mods created a safe space for the astros fans.

Well, that is just not true. I posted very rarely in that thread and it was no trash talking or trolling. However, I was referenced quite often. I must have made quite an impression then and now.
