I received my gear I purchased online the night we won. Now time to buy some more.

I just got my world series champions shirt and pennant yesterday .... I ordered them 10 minutes after we won.

They cancelled one of my items as well. But I was able to find it at academy so it's all good

ordered my Springer jersey before Game 7 ended - they just emailed me that it should ship around Thanksgiving . Might buy a Bregman jersey to ease my sorrows.

All my orders (with the exception of my Springer jersey - which should arrive 11/27) are scheduled for the next 3-4 days.

It's horrible though. I ordered stuff the night of our win all on the same order. Some stuff is showing up this weekend while the other half isn't showing up for another 10 days or so.

And even though Dickie had a long, successful career, it's still sickening to think what might have been. He hit 20 home runs when short stops just didn't do that.

I've been thinking about that too...this is one of the largest cities in the country that has been STARVED for a championship (with no asterisks) for DECADES.

I can't imagine the amount of revenue that has poured into the Astros organization over the last week. You can bet it's significant.

Also realize the years the Astros went with essentially no team payroll (in 2013 I think our overall payroll was $14 million...THAT'S IT). You have to think Crane banked a ton of dough just from TV rights alone.

Add all that up, I don't know what the f*** it means, but you got some bad-a$$ perpetrators and they're here to stay.

Crane kinda bought a worthless bankrupt cable network for hundreds of millions though, he wasnt banking tv rights.

Unless it is specifically sold in the stores at Minute Maid, I thought the MLB deal is that this merchandise revenue is split evenly among the teams. In other words, the other teams get to share in the uptick in Astros gear sales just like they get to share if another team won the WS.

Eh...I would be highly skeptical of that being the case. I would suspect anything with the Astros logo goes back in some percentage to the Astros ownership. That's what you pay for when you buy a team, in part, is the brand-name. Of course I could be wrong but that would be weird to me if all teams benefited equally from the sale of Astros gear.

I'm pretty sure the NFL has that rule (except the Cowboys get their own revenue), but not sure about MLB
