Does anyone know how alcohol works at the parades? I assume you probably aren't able to just roll out an ice chest and party on the streets

Just bought a World Series Champions version of that for our kid coming next June.
The parade is absolutely going to be a disaster, but those of us that work downtown will be there before it gets crazy, and will probably have to stay in the office until 5 or it'll be a disaster trying to leave anyway.
I'm gonna head downstairs around noon (maybe earlier) and just enjoy it for 3+ hours. Initial gameplan is to set up at city hall close to the start of the parade.

Anyone know about getting an enlarged version of the SI cover?
Picked up a high gloss version. I have the paper from the first pennant framed and this will look damn good next to it
I ordered 6 of the $2 copies and the $25 poster version. Then my mail guy at the office says he has an extra at home he will bring for me tomorrow.
I'm still upset that my SI got pitched. I had been saving it, just in case. No idea what happened to it, but I've searched high and low, and I'm 99% sure it's gone
HISD being closed will certainly add to the downtown mayhem tomorrow
