You just subjectively hate Hinch. You will hate every manager you watch on a regular basis. It's who you are.

Players are the biggest deciders of the games, not managerial decisions.


Pulling McCullers
Not playing Gattis but once in the series while McCann goes 0fer
Team playing like scared puppy dogs.
No adjustments at the plate.


But Hinch has nothing to do with the first 2 wins?

Or rallying back to win the Boston series?

Or winning 102?

Or Marwin's development as a player?

Or Bregman's maturation?

Or assimilating a 33 year old Cuban into a new position?

Or leaving Verlander in to dominate the 9th in game 2?



He really didn't. Our pitchers were phonomenal. Hitting was terrible except for our two best players. His best coaching move was NOT pulling guys.. but that was the easiest decision in the world.


Like I said above. In your mind Hinch only gets credit for losses.


What did he do to win the first two games. Name one decision.

It's one thing to have an embarrassing loss with a terrible team. As an Ag, I've experienced plenty of those. It's another to have a painful loss when you have a team that is actually good enough to win it all.

I'm not really that mad at Hinch for this. He believes the team can come back and wants to put in his best pitcher to grab multiple innings. And Morton was filthy Monday except for some bloop hits.
