And that's why yesterday's loss was so bad - Going back to Minute Maid ahead 3-2 we have a chance.

Behind 3-2, no way.
Id feel much better if we had DK and JV for those 2 games. But now we won't.

This is why you pull him now and hope he has some juice for a game 7 appearance.

This I agree with.

Did we just become best friends?

I guarantee these guys are giving it everything they have to win the WS. I don't understand you turning your back on a team who doesn't have momentum in Yankee stadium right now. There are still more games to play!!!

Even Altuve is yet to get a hit in the last three games.

Listen we all want the Astros to win this game, this series, move on and win the WS but the way they are playing right now is very disappointing and devastating to people who have followed this team all season!

I really wish we had a coach that didn't crumble under pressure. He's set the mood of this team in game 3. Our home crowd is the only hope we have of firing these guys up.

Jesus there's been some dumb shlt said on this thread but this takes the cake.

Most idiotic thing I've read on TexAgs in a while. And that's pretty idiotic.

We all know you love Hinch.

Show me the proof that these guys are playing focused.

I'll wait.

Show me the proof Hinch is to blame, I'll wait.

You just subjectively hate Hinch. You will hate every manager you watch on a regular basis. It's who you are.

Players are the biggest deciders of the games, not managerial decisions.

Pulling McCullers
Not playing Gattis but once in the series while McCann goes 0fer
Team playing like scared puppy dogs.
No adjustments at the plate.

See latest post forgot to reply to you, I'm not turning my back on the team, just disappointed and frustrated.

I'm not gonna get in a pissing match.

They're losing because they can't hit for shlt. I'm not sure how Hinch sets the tone for being able to get base hits.

And yes I like Hinch. He's managed this young team to the 2nd best record in franchise history.

But I'm guessing you'll give the players the credit for that and blame Hinch for this so that's all the time I'm waiting on this.

If anyone thinks we're winning Game 6 without Verlander tossing a perfect game, they're crazy too.

He did a great job this year. But playoffs are different than regular season. Your team has to be able to grind. You can't be too reactionary like last night. You have to put the best guys in the right place to give yourself the best chance.. and to Hinch.. it's still the regular season where lefty righty is the only thing that matters.

10 hits in 24 IP is not going to get it done. Have to hit better and the time to do it is running thin.

Really. I think 2015 was worse. The team was hitting a groove and one guy(Harris) blew it for everyone

This is a total team collapse we're seeing. Much easier to accept imo

But Hinch has nothing to do with the first 2 wins?

Or rallying back to win the Boston series?

Or winning 102?

Or Marwin's development as a player?

Or Bregman's maturation?

Or assimilating a 33 year old Cuban into a new position?

Or leaving Verlander in to dominate the 9th in game 2?

No they look like they care so much they can't see strikes and balls any more. I definitely don't see a team that doesn't care. I see one thats scared of pissing away a great season.

To this point, the most painful moment of my sports life was the Fran/Iowa State debacle. I sat through that whole game on the 3rd deck. This hurts worse.

This. They are trying to smack home runs each and every at bat. Reddick hasn't gone with a pitch all series.

This sorta reminds me if the week when we played 3 "home" games in Florida vs. the rangerettes & got beat to a pulp. Ugly.
Then, the guys came home to MMP, to their home crowd & families, and beat the do-do outta whoever it was we were playing.
It can and it will happen.

He really didn't. Our pitchers were phonomenal. Hitting was terrible except for our two best players. His best coaching move was NOT pulling guys.. but that was the easiest decision in the world.

Like I said above. In your mind Hinch only gets credit for losses.
