Carl Edwards Jr just walked Yu Darvish with 2 outs on 4 straight balls with the bases loaded hahaha. Darvish wasn't even swinging. He was showing bunt every time.

And actually thinking about it some more that loss is really placed at the feet of Correa and Altuve for their defensive prowess against Headley.

As a houston sports fan I'm truly expecting us to head back to Houston down 3-2 and lose in 7. No Houston team has stepped up and done the unexpected since dream and Clyde

Hopefully we'll be able to get to Tanaka, who can be filthy at times. Then we need to get to Severino, and then CC (if we go to game 7). All three of those pitchers pretty much silenced our bats the first time around. By the way, if we do go to a game 7, we will have to win without Dallas or JV. We almost need back-to-back CGs from our aces to take this series.Ag_07 said:
We've scored more runs on the Yankee BP than we have their starters.
Think that's where the difference in the series is. I didn't expect their starters to quite our offense like they have. I actually liked the matchups their starters gave us and they've haven't allowed much at all.
And the more I think about it the more I think Lance should've stayed in that game last. However, I'm not sure it would've made a difference in the outcome. The ineffective BP would still be pitching in the 8th and 9th. Feel like it would've been delaying the inevitable.

I'm not a manager obviously, , but couldn't we pitch Peacock in game five, and try and squeeze one out in any, then have Kechel and Verlander in six and seven? Or is it better to have Kechel pitch game six?

Someone threw out that idea last night and was called ignorant by many people here.rgt99 said:

Ahh, got it. I just know this was talked about last night. To me you have to go with Dallas today and hope that the bats come alive. It really doesn't matter who we pitch if we can't the offense going....BMX Bandit said:Schrute said:Someone threw out that idea last night and was called ignorant by many people here.rgt99 said:

This poster is admitting he does not know, and asking a question so he can educate himself. That was not the case yesterday.
