Man I'm really sad about getting rejected. If there is anyone that got selected for tickets that is only planning on going to a game or two, I would love the chance to purchase the tickets for the game(s) you don't want to go too.

Ditto. Daddy needs tickets.

Interesting
I think Beltre adds a little more protection for Yuli than does Reddick. Or maybe shake things up a little...

Hmmm anyone else not received the email yet one way or the other? I've received follow up for every prior series.

Took a quick look at the Astros lifetime stats vs Sonny Gray. Wow. NY can't be confident tonight. Bregman, Yuli, and Reddick have a small sample size, but Altuve Beltran and MccannMcCann. Would be great if McCann can contribute The offensively.

Altuve 11-30
Beltran 4-11
Bregman 1-1
Centeno 1-3
Correa 1-14
Gattis 3-15
Gurriel 1-3
McCann 4-12
Reddick 1-2
Springer 4-16

Aren't you forgetting McCann?

I didn't get selected for any of the three rounds, but I was still able to get tickets for ALDS and ALCS by waiting by the computer.

Any chance there will be a decent amount of tickets still available when they go on sale to the public Thursday at noon, or are we expecting them to be all but gone by then?

I would expect an extremely limited amount unless there is a website malfunction again.

Count me in as another loser that lost out all 3 rounds but would love tickets if someone has extras or can't go to all games

There were some for the first two games and a lot for the non-guaranteed games of the ALCS when they went on sale to the general public. I know that's not ideal, but at least it means there might be a possibility.

I wouldn't be surprised if there are some left.

The higher prices may price some people out who bought for the last 2 series.

The other thing is to just keep checking the website. For example I think by rule they have to hold ADA seats for a certain amount of time, but then they can release them. And then they might be holding seats for the players/team/whoever and if they aren't claimed they release those.

Not sure but he's lucky he did that before Collin got on the mound.

Throwing that pitch shown in the clip could be part of what has been causing him arm trouble. To get that movement he is having to rotate his wrist inward which puts terrible strain on the elbow and shoulder.
Your wrist rotates inward even when you throw a curveball. I would be about 95% certain that pitch isn't the problem.

Your wrist is locked with the pinky side of your hand leading on a curveball. There is no wrist rotation.

To throw that pitch, with the movement away from a left handed hitter, his fingers got to the inside of the baseball. Meaning he turned his index finger and thumb to the ground. That pitch actually looked like a change up with the way it dove away from the batter. Maybe it was just a nasty 2-seamer with some serious downward action.

I thought I read an article about the Astros and McCullers going to a specialist to have his pitching analyzed to see if it was going to put strain on his arm and the doctor said the way he throws it is fine.

Did I make that up?

Right. It would take a screwball like inward twist to do that (unless it was a splitter which I don't think Lance throws). That puts an enormous strain on the arm. Like you said, I was thinking circle change until I saw 94 on the gun.
Your arm pronates on every pitch, even a curve ball. That's probably what he was referring to. Throwing any pitch is a strain on the elbow and shoulder because it's not a natural motion. You can tweak your mechanics to reduce the stress on the arm, but ultimately, some guys just aren't put together to handle that type of stress on their joints.

It may have been a change up that he didn't kill it enough with his grip.
