Average Exit Velocity

  • NYY: 85.0 MPH
  • HOU: 84.9 MPH

BABIP

  • NYY: .246 (14/57)
  • HOU: .194 (14/72)


I'm confident that the hits will start falling for us, including HRs. We've hit five balls over 375' this series, including three over 395' and none left the park. It's only a matter of time before some of those start finding the seats.

We hit Gray well tonight and Dallas ends it.

As has been stated all we need is to win one of the games in NY.

You're assuming the bats don't destroy any Yankee starting pitcher and force them to put in a starter they were saving for later on short rest.

Took a quick look at the Astros lifetime stats vs Sonny Gray. Wow. NY can't be confident tonight. Bregman, Yuli, and Reddick have a small sample size, but Altuve Beltran and MccannMcCann. Would be great if McCann can contribute offensively.

MLB Avg was around .300 and we hit around .310ish (BABIP). Staying sub .200 seems very unlikely.

Also, you're right about those looooong outs. That **** will turn into Crush City soon.

Gray has a career 3.90 ERA against the Astros. This year he pitched 5 innings giving up 5 ERs for a nice round 9.00 ERA.

I think Beltran gets the start against Gray. That short porch in right makes Beltran a tempting choice as well.

Man I'm really sad about getting rejected. If there is anyone that got selected for tickets that is only planning on going to a game or two, I would love the chance to purchase the tickets for the game(s) you don't want to go too.
