I would still take every single one of our position players over theres.

Marwin over Gardner is a no brainer.

Reddick is way more clutch than Judge, and has a better chance of getting a late game hit than Judge.

Finally, McCann is one of the few hitters who has lack luster numbers, but I trust his experience to get the job done (whatever it may be) over Sanchez.

And for the record, I'm dancing around the "W S" term so as not to anger Jobu

Not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing but I'm usually on the pessimistic side of things when it comes to big games or big series when talking about Aggies/Astros.

I feel for games 1&2 especially...New York is about to walk into an Fing bandsaw they want no part of with this Astros lineup.

Maybe it's a false sense of confidence but other than their bullpen there isn't a single aspect of this series that concerns me. Everything about the Yankees reeks "pretty good" or "above average".

If they end up winning 4 of 7 games they are going to have to play a very high level of baseball in all aspects imo

I get a weird sense of calm about the fact that if we're going to lose a series, the opponent is going to have to beat either Keuchel or Verlander.

Although to be fair he did get hit by the backswing. Always thought the rules on contact between the hitter and the catcher favor the hitter way too much. Free base if the catchers mitt touches the bat, but nothing to protect the catcher if the batter nails the catcher in the head with the backswing.

Wieters absolutely tanking the Nats this inning. This must be what it was like to watch the Chicago Black Sox play.
