Count me as one that definitely prefers the Yanks, as well. Regardless of the matchup, it feels great to have a decided rest advantage over both teams.

I'll throw my hat into the Yankees corner. We've touched them up this year. Seemed like the Yankees series back in May? Or April? Was what set this team into motion. The Indians just seem to be our kryptoniye earlier this year and whatever voodoo, gods, or mojo this team believes in I don't want the Indians to be part of it.
Plus, how awesome would a World Series run be to talk about if we beat all of the old guard? Sox, Yankees, and Dodgers/Cubs...

The Yankees are an objectively worse team than the Indians, and we'd get home field. I think we can all agree we definitely want to face the Yankees.

The only downside to the Yankees is how often we'd have to hear about the height difference between Judge and Altuve.
It'll be awesome when we play in Yankee Stadium and the small Stros contingent is chanting M-V-P every time Altuve bats.

Last year, the NLCS had all 7:00 games (thanks, LA) while the ALCS had both 3:00 and 7:00 games. Can see the same thing happening this year with the Dodgers back again.

I don't think that series has much to do with our game times since WAS is EST and CHI is CST.

The time slots is another reason why we would want the Yankees to win: Friday, Saturday, Friday, and Saturday home games should all be "prime time". Both Friday games would be at night since the NL would not play on those days.
The world we live in now should make it very easy to watch two games at once. Schedule all LCS games at night in primetime... it shouldn't be that hard.

Not being able to isn't why they don't do it.
Having them at different times allows for larger audiences for each game.
If our game is on at the same time I'm damn sure not tuning into the NLCS. However, if it's later I'll most likely be tuned in.
Having both your products competing against each other is bad business decision.

I seriously would love to see a Nuke-managed team.
100 losses - many of them forfeited for running out of players since he'd plunk every batter anytime there was a perceived wrongdoing to his team. He would only manage 1/3 of the games to the end too because he would need to show how much of a man he is by kicking dirt on the umpire every time there was a borderline call.
Basically, not much actual baseball managing. Think Bannister but worse.

Yes, but Miller is less likely to put one of our guys in the hospital for the World Series.

Say what you will about Nuke, but that would be absolute must watch baseball. We would have seen so many plunks of odor and Gomez, and the amount of bench clearing brawls would have been off the charts.
