Dammit I have a huge dilemma. Wife got tickets at box office for ALCS games on Monday. We leave for the Florida game early Thursday morning at 630am. Game 5 will finish late and if the Yankees win, games 1 and 2 are here in Houston. I won't be able to easily sell my tickets after 10pm Wednesday. I can't transfer them via email. I need Cleveland to win for me to go to ALCS game 3 and 4. However I want the Astros to play the Yankees instead (easier to beat).

So this is a long shot, but what part Of town are you in? I leave for work early enough where it might be feasible to meet you prior to your flight and pick up the tickets. If you live anywhere from Pearland to Galveston then it might work. What's face value for the tickets? We're looking to go Friday as really that's the only game we'd be able to make due to prior commitments.

I want the Indians. They are coming back to earth from their winning streak and starting to average out.

The Yankees give us home field advantage, we've matched up well against them this year, and their starting rotation is lackluster.
The Indians are sliding a bit and they're beat to shlt as it is and it's gonna get worse after a do or die game 5. They're not in a good spot to be turning around and starting a 7 game series on Friday.
With that said I think the Yankees are the better matchup. The way we've been able to jump out early on starting pitching would make them an easier matchup. Plus we've played in Yankee stadium under the lights on a nationally televised game and it didn't phase us at all (Stanky-B grand slam on Jeter night game).
The Yankees give us home field advantage, we've matched up well against them this year, and their starting rotation is lackluster.

Meh I take the Yankees all day long. Kluber getting touched up twice is anomaly I wouldn't expect to continue if they get to alcs.

Rotation and lineup is very blah imo. Give me the Bronx bombers all day every day. You give Cleveland a reset to a new series and a fresh slate and they can very easily hit the reset button and turn it on
