Yes. Robbing the HR and the double he had tonight.

Now he's saying stats don't matter and it's moments that people remember and Judge has had two great moments and been a key to their 2 wins.

It serious is baffling how someone can make that argument without snickering. I would suspect that only someone as narcissistic as A-Rod could do it.

And how in the fack can A-Rod say with a straight face that Aaron Judge has been right in the middle of both Yankee wins?

He's 1 for 15 with 12 Ks.

What a homer ass chump.
granted afterwards he pretty much said the Astros are hoping for the Yankees because they know they are better and have had success against the Yankees. so, not all homerism.

One of the analyst just said we should want to play the Indians because of the "Mystique" of the Yankees...

The book on Judge now seems pretty short and simple. Throw him curves and sliders. He can mash a fastball. He can't touch Mr. Snappy right now.

didn't see that but, Arod and Big Papi both said the Stros want the Yankees because we are better.

Just watched a few of the highlights on the watchespn app. They had Berman's call from the radio synched up with FS1 and it was pure greatness listening to him so excited during the inside the park homerun to hearing him dejected when the Astros finished them off.

Berman's call is embarrassing. It sounded like he was commenting on someone losing their home too a hurricane instead of a team punching their ticket to the ALCS. What a chump.

Agreed. He could've tried a little harder to hide his bias. He almost sounded shocked even though we were the favorite

Love that Fenway got so quite on Beltran's double that the loudest sound in the park was the thunk off the Green Monster!

I have never heard a stadium so quiet as at that moment.
Guess you weren't at Minute Maid for the Pujols HR? I was. It was super duper quiet.
Here.

It was Keith Hernandez trying to sound insightful. He was real proud of himself for a sec.

Can't hate too much. He's been high on the Astros since he saw us when the Mets came to town.

Actually, I just thought about '86. Screw Hernandez. #NeverForget

Yep. And he was always one of the biggest aholes in the game. Treated young fans like crap.

As well as old people and dogs, he hated them both

Moneyball 2 is gonna be hilarious with Franconia getting all pissy in the playoffs, and Brad Mills blowing him on his knees

the Astros won the ALDS, but Hinch's managing in games 3 and 4 with regard to the pitching staff was not good. He managed like the Astros were the team facing elimination in both games.

he can't do that stuff in the ALCS. It's a 7-game series. No desperation moves until games 6 and 7

Agreed. Took out Peacock and Morton at least an inning too early. Didn't mind JV pitching, but not in the middle of an inning.

Also, the bottom of the 3rd was fricken pivotal. Bregman with the bang bang to start the inning and then Marwin with the throw home. We wiped out two would be runs in that inning alone with our defense.

As the Indians showed tonight with 6/7 runs allowed being unearned, even good defensive teams having untimely breakdowns can kill a team. I think we see more of Maybin in the LCS if we get early leads. Marwin is no Kyle Schwarber, but getting a plus defender out there would be great. His arm is a great asset though (at any position, hell he probably would be a great third catcher, just for his arm)

Agree. Seems like he panicked a couple times. It worked out, but I hope he panics a little less moving forward.

Cleveland has to burn Kluber on Wednesday. That means they'd either pitch him on 3 days rest in game 2, or we wouldn't see him until game 5. Either way, good break for us.

What is the basis for not seeing him until game 5?

Seems he'd be ready game 3
