No idea what the re-sell market was like, but here is some info on face value for 2005:

His last 3 series (13-WS, 15-WC, 16-ALDS) his OPS was .694, .500, .432.

Lucas Giolito is one of the top pitching prospects in baseball. The White Sox may not have much in the bullpen or on offense (in comparison to the Astros), they don't lack in interesting young pitching (Giolito, Reynaldo Lopez, and Carlos Rodon, for example).

Hopefully the Astros have some better ABs the second and third time up against him.

Edit: If you like small sample stats, Giolito is running a 2.34 ERA as it stands right now.
