I never said he was a bad prospect. I just said I was not impressed with him, along with all the people who were sitting around me. He could be an amazing baseball player for all I know, but after watching him it was kind of sad.

After playing baseball your whole life and being told to respect the game and hustle all the time, it was rough seeing a guy who is talked about as the Astros saving grace not do the things you thought so highly of a baseball player to do

I never had any intention on being bashed for my post. Sorry

Well it's looking like 4 of those will be away from MMP where we average 7+ runs so I like our chances.

Part of my problem (and I think this is an issue from the other side of the table, given that our front office is likely very value conscious) is why can't we get rid of all the midlevel prospect talent that is clogging up Fresno right now? Nobody wants those players? Have position players now become a dime a dozen for every team? (Another oddity is that basically every contender only went pitching at the DL this year? Is that accurate?) Just because we wont give you Tucker or Fisher for your ****ing reliever doesn't mean we dont have any other players, thats what feels off to me.

Part of your problem is the continued use of trollish idiotic descriptors like saying anybody is talking about a AA prospect as being our "saving grace" while we have the best record in the AL by like 10 games or whatever.

Because when healthy he's very very very good. He's in his 3rd year in the bigs and he's still younger than when Springer got called up for the first time.

With Lance, I get the feeling that his emotions play into his performances to a great extent. I think we need to see him on the bump in more important games more before we really know what we have. He also does have postseason experience and looked good. He should have been the winning pitcher in the series clinching game 4 win against KC two years ago before the bullpen implosion in the 8th innning of that game
