I was just wondering that. You have to imagine Fisher is off the table with Aoki gone, and it never seemed very likely that Tucker would be traded. It will be interesting to see what happens with other trades if they happen
No. Nothing close to that.Ag_07 said:
Teoscar was so pretty far down the list on OFers that would contribute to this team.
I'm fine with dealing him.
Question is now that we've unofficially given Fisher the reigns to LF will Tucker be included in a deal?
I like to view it as we are are creating opportuities for AA guys to prove themselvesiBrad said:
With White and Fisher called up, Moran on the DL, and Hernandez potentially being traded, Fresno's lineup has taken a serious hit.
JD Davis already has 4 homeruns or something ridiculous for them once Moran left though.iBrad said:

And could likely be shipped out in a deadline deal.JJxvi said:JD Davis already has 4 homeruns or something ridiculous for them once Moran left though.iBrad said:

Think Baltimore would bite on Davis, Perez, Alverez for Britton?iBrad said:And could likely be shipped out in a deadline deal.JJxvi said:JD Davis already has 4 homeruns or something ridiculous for them once Moran left though.iBrad said:

That is our #3, #6, and #15 prospects (according to MLB). Davis at 15 seems criminally low too. He's a better prospect than Teoscar, Daz, Perez #3, and Stubbs.NotGibbs said:

Right, but if Fisher establishes himself as an everyday player then it'll be hard for Tucker to break in with Springer & Reddick already locked in. Fisher is going to have the opportunity to with the rest of this season and be a huge favorite to keep the starting job going into 2018 if he keeps up what he is doing.Hollabeck said:
The expectation internally is that Tucker is likely to be a better player than Fisher, so I'm not sure I would say he is necessarily "blocked" in the scenario where we keep both. I agree that keeping Fisher is certainly insurance if you deal Tucker, as he would be a young player under club control for many years that you assume will be a useful MLB player. Tucker's ceiling is considered much, much higher though, at least to the folks that matter inside the Astros organization.
I thought I read something a little while ago about him having issues with his eyesightcoastalAg said:I dont know. He tore the cover off the ball for them down the stretch last year. 1.7 WAR in only 47 games.W said:
Lucroy is a classic example a player doing great in a low pressure / low expectation environment (i.e. Milwaukee). Easier to produce under those circumstances. But when the pressure and expectations ramp up (i.e. playoff chase)...the struggles begin
Fangraphs has talked a lot about his sudden decline in pitch framing ability. Feels like there is something physical going on.

I don't want to trade Tucker for either.Schrute said:

I don't either, but I'd rather have Hand than to trade Tucker for Britton.aggie1906 said:I don't want to trade Tucker for either.Schrute said:
