You can't just bring another reliever in at the drop of a hat. It takes time to warm up and Feliz was getting roped early in the count.

Peacock is one arm that will be in the pen.

I say you need one BP arm and one starter.

We still have a 9 game lead on the entire AL

Feliz is a very solid reliever.

Hinch was right to pull LMJ (maybe should have gone with a finesse guy, but still)

Hoyt may need a short stint in AAA to work on his control but he will be a solid go-to arm by seasons end

I don't think we should make any trades. We literally could get McHugh, Morton, DK all back in the next 2 wks.

Fresno is currently lighting up MadBum

Remember when Gregerson was good? He's now pitching in the 8th of a 10-3 game. Should have traded him after the WBC.

Seriously, this team is being managed for the fall. There's no sense in letting LMJ stay in this game when his mechanics had gone to hell so that he'll overthrow to get out of the jam and strain his oblique or some *****

He's never thrown over 125 innings in 1 season and he's at 87 already. You really don't want to increase a pitcher by roughly more than 30ish innings every season. If his pitch count is up and he's thrown a couple of high stress innings, then get his ass out of there.

Serious question: do you trust lance as a top 2 starter in a 7 game playoff series? I don't.
