I think Lance could've given up less than 5 runs, just as Fiers probably wouldn't have given up 4 the other night. Gotta be tough leaving as a starter after pitching so well and knowing someone like Felix or Hoyt is coming on.

Well if they would go 6 full they wouldnt get the bottom of the barrel bridge guys and maybe get Harris or Devo.

One of the errors was on him. The other was a hard hit ball. Also, we got lucky as fk with the wild pitch that culminated in an out.

It was a bad outing for lance, period.

Oh, I complete agree.

Just crazy to me that the only dude who can go 6 full seemingly every time is Dallas. I know the rotation is young, but man.

At this point, I'm just about fine picking up a start with a 3.75-4 ERA who can go 6 on a consistent basis at the trade deadline...

McCullers has been one of the best pitchers in the league this year.

At this point if we want a bullpen that's still alive by the playoffs we need 2 of these.

He has, and he's been effective.

However, he's pitched 81 innings in 14 games this season, averaging just over 5 2/3 innings per game. He's done that all 3 years in the league and hasn't had a complete season yet.

As I said, I love the dude, and I think he's a stud, but he has to go longer in games.
