I'm heading to Colorado next week for like 7 or 8 days so I'm pumped about this. Cheap option for me to not miss a game. Well worth $10 to me.

As a "Local Fan" living in Baton Rouge I would rather make the short drive to MMP than watch the Astros on TV anyway

Man did you guys see what happened to Dustin Fowler in the Yanks game?

So I know nothing about him but apparently he's a decent prospect for the Yanks and was called up to Chicago to make his debut. In the bottom of the first he hit a rail going for a foul ball in RF and ruptured his patella tendon.

Had surgery last night in Chicago and is out 9-12 months. His family couldn't make it to Chicago in time so they were supposed to come here to watch him play tonight.

I saw the video and look on Giradi's face when he realized how bad it was says it all.

I remember that within a day or two after acquiring Randy Johnson my mom took us to a number of Academy stores to find Randy Johnson jerseys for us.

I remember being so excited as an 8 year old when I got my hands on a newly made Randy Johnson (as an Astro) baseball card.

I still remember how electric the excitement was when we acquired Randy Johnson and he dominated. Hopefully there is no Kevin Brown this year in the AL playoffs. The current excitement reminds me of this time.

Ditto. And technically, I'm somewhere in that photo. Rainbow deck, third base side. I'm sure somewhere in a box I still have the promo sign that says, "Welcome to Houston, Big Unit!" with a K on the back side.

IIRC my parents and I were up there on the 1st base side.

I did hear that. Apparently individually our BP pitchers are not being overworked much at all.

I also heard the Lunhow show yesterday on my way home and I thought he had some interesting things to say especially concerning a couple prospects.

When asked specifically about 3B and C prospects he seemed to hint that Moran, Davis, and Stubbs may not be around after the deadline. It was nothing direct but I picked up that he kept saying things like 'We'll see if these guys are around after the deadline and if they are we'll have a plan for them.' or 'Whether he's with us or someone else we think he's going to be a productive ML player.'

He also mentioned the Brazilian market being tapped into and said he would have some Brazilian signings to announce soon.
