I still don't get it.

How can Bannister come out of the dugout, have a conversation with an umpire, get a review of the HR, get a review of the play at the plate, and not get charged a review?

Well now it doesn't matter.

Can the Diaz experiment be over?

Hold onto your butts boys. It's going to be rocky until our rotation gets healthy.

Better to be hurt now than in August or September though. Lots of baseball to play. No need to cliff dive quite yet.

With the strikeouts we can get from this staff controlling base runners is less of an emphasis. It does seem teams are running a lot. Most likely trying to generate runs at the margins against our pitching staff

Hinch apparently is writing of this game by leaving Diaz in there. Maybe the Astros will have a monster 9th. Hopefully this will just be a two week rough patch and we will finally be healthy by the ASB.

This pitching staff is in shambles. I can't remember a time when all five projected starters were on the DL.

I've never seen anything like it. It's ridiculous.

But the offense has to step up during these times. One run isn't gonna win **** during an outing you have to piece together bullpen arms to complete.
